Issue

I keep getting a note to fill in all the required profile fields. After I fill in the data, the profile just doesn’t save my entries.

Solution

Please check your profile name/nickname. Mostly it is because the name is not accepted by the system, because it
a) has less than 3 characters,
b) contains invalid characters such as spaces, umlauts or special characters,
c) already exists

Then first fill in only the necessary fields (country, age, sex, I am looking for), save your profile and then add all the other information. The mentioned fields are necessary to ensure a basic functionality of the profiles and to guarantee a certain quality.

Issue

After successfully registering on the platform, I would like to complete my profile. I have filled in all the necessary fields in my profile, but I can’t get out of the profile. As soon as I want to use the platform’s functions and click on Search or Matching in the menu, for example, only my profile is displayed again and again?

Solution

Please make sure that you:
– uploaded a profile picture
– have filled in all the necessary profile fields in the basic information.

Only by uploading a picture and filling in the necessary profile fields will your profile be fully approved and you will be able to use the platform’s functions.

Issue

I would like to delete my profile and all data. Unfortunately, this does not work. I can’t get to the respective menu.

Solution

To delete your profile, move your mouse to “Profile” in the menu at the top and then click on “Delete profile & all data” in the submenu.

If you keep coming back to your profile, your profile has probably not yet been approved by the system. This means that you have not filled in the necessary data and/or uploaded a profile picture. Only when the required fields have been filled in and you have uploaded a profile picture your profile is approved and you can access all functions of the platform, including deleting your profile.

Issue

I have discovered an interesting vaccine-free person on the platform and would like to write him a message, but I do not see an option to do so.

Solution

Please note, that as a guest member the functionality to initiate a friends request to another member is limited.

As a full member, you will see a blue heart on every profile or short profile in the search. If you click on the blue heart, a window opens in which you can send a contact request with a short message. If the other member accepts the request, you can exchange messages without limits.

As a guest, you can accept contact requests and answer them. Once you are connected you can also exchange messages.

Issue

Every time I go use the search function to look for other members, I only see the same hits as before. But I want to see all members again and start a new search.

Solution

Click on “reset” at the top left of the search area. This will clear all previous filters and display all members in the search again.

Please note that it may happen that the search caches your filter criteria. If you then go back to the search, it may be that the filter is still set and you will therefore see this selection again.

In the mobile version, you will also find “reset” in the list of filter criteria, above the map.

Issue

I want to log in, but I get an error message that my username or password is incorrect.

Solution

You can log in with your profile name and password, or with email and password. If the login does not work, the password is probably incorrect. If you have forgotten your password, please click on “Forgot password” on the login screen.

You will then be sent a link to reset your password to your email and you can set a new password. Please make sure that your password is at least medium strength to be accepted. Ideally 8 or more characters, combination of letters, numbers, special characters.

Issue

I registered as a guest, sent the form for full membership by bank transfer and transferred the money directly. After one day, the membership is still not registered.

Solution

Please note that it can take up to two days until we receive your transfer. We will do our best to check your account and activate your profile for full membership as soon as we receive the money.

If you have not received your full membership 4-5 days after the transfer, please check that your transfer has been made and write to the support team using the contact form below.

Issue

I read that the platform is run by a Swiss association. But I am not from Switzerland, can I still use the platform?

Absolutely. The platform was founded in Switzerland, but is available internationally throughout Europe. Our vision is to connect all vaccine-free people, across national borders. That is why we have also integrated many other languages into the platform.Vaccfree.Love
